• Obituary: Crescent City - Funeral services for Charles Hawks (1856-1945), 89, who died here on Friday, were held at the Presbyterian Church on Sunday afternoon with Rev. H. D. Gress in charge. The body was taken to South Deerfield, Mass., for burial. Mr. Hawkes has lived here over a long period of years during the winter seasons and many friends will regret to learn of his passing.
