Sterling passed away Monday, June 15, 2020 at Windsor Care Center. He was born February 26, 1928 to the late Norris M. and Ann Fowler Follett. He was a retired farmer and a Korean War Veteran. He was a member of First Christian Church, Young Eagles Club (Montgomery County Airport), Director of Hurst Life Insurance, Kentuckians Barber Shop Chorus, American Legion Post 22, Cattlemen's Association, Farm Bureau and Montgomery County Airport Board. He was survived by two sons, Barry Follett (Kathy) of Mt. Sterling, KY and Pete Follett (Sharon) of Mt. Sterling, KY; one daughter, Marti Nave (Leonard K, Jr.) of Richmond, KY; two grandchildren, Chris Follett (Brittney) and Eric Follett; and one great grandchild, Jackie Reese. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Jane Quisenberry Follett; one brother, Norris Follett; and one sister, Patricia Follett Spear. A graveside service will be held 11 AM, Thursday, June 18, 2020 at Machpelah Cemetery with Rev. Scott Holley officiating. Pallbearers will be Chris Follett, Eric Follett, Ashley Tyree, Leonard Nave, George Pawley, and Buck Prewitt. Honorary pallbearers will be Steve Reffitt, Sherry Reffitt, Dave Gatewood, Rick Gunderson, Jody Oney, Chuck Lueke, Billy Stewart, Jimmy Costigan, John Stegner and Members of First Christian Church Choir.
