Obituary: PARSONS. Mary Esther Parsons, 79, of Key Colony Beach, FL died Monday (Dec. 22, 1997). She had resided in the Keys since the early 1970's, coming from Southington. She Volunteered many hours in community care, including playing the piano at local nursing homes. She was a member of Kirk of the Keys, and formerly played at services there. She is survived by her children, John R. Parsons of Plainville, Stephen Parsons of Southington, Elizabeth Dawson of Springfield, VT., Martin Parsons of Harlingen, TX, and Lawrence Paul Parsons of Kalispell, MT, grandchildren Timothy, Rebecca, Jacob, Nicholas, Erin, Lucas Dawson and Brian Dawson, Ben, and Josie. She was preceded in death by her husband Stanley T. and her son Stanley T., Jr. Memorial se rvices will be Sunday (Jan. 4), at Southington Congregational Church in Southington at 2 p.m. In her memory the family requests donations to the church organ fund.
