  • Obituary: Mrs Frederick, who was 82 years old, died Aug 28, 1992, in Harrington, where she was a resident. She was born on Nov 2, 1910, to Mark and Annie Burns in Hurdsfield, ND. She grew up in Mercer. She attended Dickinson Teachers' College and taught in a country grade school in Taylor, ND. She moved to Sandpoint, Idaho, and operated several businesses there until 1952, when she, and her two children, Jacqueline Ann and Dean Graves, were widowed and moved to Odessa. She married Louie Frederick in 1953 and operated a cafe and also an upholstery shop in Odessa. She was an avid bowler. She was preceded in death by her husband, Louie Frederick, in 1988. She is survived by a sister, Betty Gasser, of Arizona; two children, Jacque Sewall of Seven Bays, and Dean Graves, of George, Utah; four step-children, Wayne Frederick, of Odessa; Leland Frederick, of Sprague; Ronald Frederick, of Odessa; Shirley Frederick Worley, of Odessa, and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Memorial services for Golda Mae Frederick, a former Odessa resident, were held on Monday at the Harrington Nazarene Church. Strate Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
