Notes Occupation: Farmer Obituary: PHINNEY, John Harcourt Jack - 77 of Nictaux West passed away Sunday, May 2, 2010 in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Middleton he was the son of the late Cyril and Frances (Palmer) Phinney. Jack farmed all of his younger years, retiring in 1977. During his retirement he enjoyed gardening, golf, curling and was a past president of the Middleton Curling Club. He was an active member of the Middleton Baptist Church having served on various church committees. Jack was a past volunteer with the Annapolis Valley Health Board and was a member of the Drug Dependancy Board. He dearly loved his children, grand children and great grandchildren as well as telling a joke or story to family and his group of friends at Tim Hortons. Interment in Pine Grove Cemetery, Middleton.
