June 27 --- Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. tomorrow in the Fickert Chapel for Garland G. Stice, 76, retired businessman, who died yesterday in a hospital here following a long illness. Stice was a native of Solano County and had resided in this county for 44 years. He was a member of the city council many years ago and served one term as mayor. In 1914, Stice opened an auto supply business here, one of the first in this city. He was a member of the Royal Arch Masons, No. 40; Vesper Lodge, No. 84, and the Knights Templar. Surviving are his son, Homer Stice of this city; his daughter, Mrs. Aileen Byrne of Oakland, and his brother, W. W. Stice of Stevenson. The body will be sent to San Francisco for cremation.
