She is survived by her husband, Jack; a daughter, Kristy Welton (Gary), Parrsboro; a son, Chris (Shelly), North Bay, Ont.; a sister, Sharon, Parrsboro; brothers, Robert, Halifax; Larry Brown (Grace), Lower Sackville; grandchildren, Tanner, Brayden, Liam, Ava; a niece, Kelsea Harvey (Kyle), Parrsboro; nephew, Luke, Montreal; a great niece, Briar. Visitation will be held 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, November 29, 2018 at Smith's Funeral Home, Parrsboro, where a celebration of Karen's life will take place at 2 p.m. on Friday, November 30, 2018.
