'96 Age 76, of Parrsboro passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 25, 2022 at the Bayview Memorial Health Centre, Advocate Harbour. Born in Parrsboro, she was a daughter of the late Roy and Marguerite 'Marg' (Phinney) Winters. She is survived by her husband, Douglas; a daughter, Vicky Brown (Jesse Ruddick), Amherst; a son, Terry Taylor (Lisa), Waverley; step-children, Denise Pye (Kevin Wasson), Parrsboro and Darrell Hiltz, Halifax; sisters, Maria Winters, Clovia Atkinson (John), both of Parrsboro; brothers, Mike Winters (Heather), Parrsboro; Bernie Winters (Sherry), Morell, PEI; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister, Virginia. In keeping with Sandra's wishes, a private graveside committal service will be held at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of choice.
