Friends since 1957 and married in 2001, Wayne will be genuinely missed by his cherished wife, Kathy. Born on February 5, 1944 in Granby, Quebec, Wayne was the loving son of the late Wilbur and the late Marjorie Pow. He will be fondly remembered by his sister Heather of Surrey, BC and brother Garnett (Dianne) of Kingston. Wayne was also predeceased by his brother Graham. Sadly missed step-dad to Kelly and Jason and special Grandpa to Malcolm, Mathew and Evan. Wayne will be deeply missed by "Mom" Pauline (late Bill) Hale, Harry (late Laura) Hale, Bill and Christine Hale, his nephews, nieces, and many old and new friends. Heartfelt thanks to Dr. Caroline Ehrat and her Health Care Team, and the superb 2nd floor Nursing and Palliative care staff at the GWM Hospital. An informal gathering will be held at O'Dacre Family Funeral Home, 15 Victoria Street, Perth, Saturday, October 24, 2009 at 1:00PM followed by a Celebration of Life ceremony at 2:00PM.
