Cooke of Stoughton, formerly of Needham, died Tuesday, Dec. 26, 2006, at her home. She was 54. Born in Boston, Ms. Cooke was the daughter of the late Harold F. and Jean A. (Tehrand) Cooke. She was raised and educated in Needham, and graduated from Needham High School in 1970. She attended Katherine Gibbs School and worked for New England Mutual Life Insurance Co. Ms. Cooke enjoyed cooking, acting and singing, and was involved in several community theater groups. She leaves her brother, John G. Cooke; and many friends. Her graveside service was held Saturday, Jan. 6, at Blue Hill Cemetery in Braintree. Memorial donations may be made to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, 44 Binney St., Boston MA 02215; or to the animal shelter of the donor's choice.
