  • Obituary: Anchorage Daily News March 25, 1986 Funeral services for Marlin B. Feero, 59, will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Fort Richardson National Cemetery. Officiating will be Chaplin Roy Ludlow. A visitation will be held from 7-8 p.m. Tuesday at Evergreen Memorial Chapel. Mr. Ferro died March 22, at Providence Hospital. He was born Aug. 30, 1926, in Seattle, Wash. He had lived in Alaska for 51 years, and had grown up in the Juneau area. He was an electrical and nuclear engineer. He had worked for various companies including Westinghouse, Holmes-Naver Engineers at the Johnston Island Nuclear Facility in the Pacific and as chief engineer for the government of American Samoa. Survivors are three sons, Dr. Stanley Feero of Olympia, Wash., Kurt Feero of McMinville, Ore., and William Feero of Indianapolis, Ind.; his mother, Rebecca Feero of Seattle, Wash.; two sisters, Audrey Coffin of Anchorage and Lorraine Christensen of Seattle, Wash., and eight grandchildren. Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society or the Alaska Heart Association.
