Although not in good health for some time he left for the United States on Thursday morning. He was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert Tufts, Salem, Mass. He was an American citizen and a member of the American Legion, being a member of World War I; also a member of Primrose Lodge, No. 151, I.O.O.F. He is survived by his wife, Ida; one daughter, Joan; granddaughter, also one sister, Mrs. Grace Wheeler, Salem, Mass. His parents and several brothers predeceased him. The funeral services were held on Saturday afternoon, August 26th., at 2 p.m., with Rev. A. Schenk, pastor of the Lutheran Church, officiating. The committal service at the graveside was conducted by the members of Primrose Lodge, under the supervision of the N.G., Oren Smith.
