Loving wife of the late Vincent (Skip) Hostetter. Eleanor was the daughter of the late John and Geraldine Medeiros. She was born and raised in Hyannis and attended Barnstable schools. Eleanor was a licensed hairdresser and worked along with her husband at Wimpy's Restaurant and other family businesses. She loved camping and vacationing with her grandchildren at their home in New Hampshire. Eleanor is survived by her son, John Hostetter and his wife Kathleen of Boxford, daughter, Daphne Bumpus of Osterville and the late Marc and Stephanie Hostetter. Sister of Paul Medeiros of Gray Gables and the late Craig Medeiros. Loving grandmother of Jason and Meagan Hostetter, Lorel Holley and Alysa Bumpus and great grandmother of Logan Holley. Visiting hours will be from 4 to 7 pm on Tuesday, January 28th at the John-Lawrence Funeral Home, 3778 Falmouth Road, Marstons Mills. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 on Wednesday, January 29th in Our Lady of Victory Church, 230 So. Main Street, Centerville. Burial will follow in St. Francis Xavier Cemetery, Centerville.
