He is survived by daughter, Alicia (Chris Moore), Oxford; son, Ken (Crystal), Truro; grandchildren, Persimmon and Kenzie; sister, Jeannie, Edmunston, NB; cousins, Beth (Al) Hart, Little River, and Bill (Bonnie) Campbell, Springhill. John was predeceased by his wife Janet. Cremation has taken place under the direction of MacDiarmid's Funeral Home, Oxford (447-2930). A private family service will be held at a later date.
