Born in New Salem, Cumberland Co., he was a son of the late Harding and Lillian (Bowlby) Brown. He worked as a lumberman and carpenter all of his life. Surviving are his wife, Grace (MacDonald) Morrison Brown, Halifax; son, Robert (Bob), Dartmouth; stepsons, Reginald Morrison, Dartmouth; Ronald Morrison, Halifax; daughters, Bernice (Mrs. George Chapman), Amherst Head; Minerva (Mrs. Frank Occomore), Amherst; stepdaughter, Shirley (Mrs. Donald MacDonald), Dunnellen, Fla.; brother, Stanley, Amherst; 10 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his first wife, the former Edith Cook; second wife, the former Jessie MacDonald; brother, Brad; sisters, Helen, Minnie, Eva, Hilda, Dora, Gertrude. Visitation 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today, funeral 1 p.m. Wednesday, both in H.C. Lindsay Memorial Chapel, 192 Commerical St., Berwick, Pastor Almond Williston officiating. Burial in Morristown Cemetery. Donations to VON, Kings County branch or Canadian Cancer Society.
