  • Obituary: Roy B. Cole, 94, of 242 North Haverhill Road died Wednesday, Oct. 13, 1999 at his home after a brief illness. Born Feb. 21, 1905, in Roweena, New Brunswick, Canada, he was the son of James Alexander Cole and Temperance (White) Cole Antworth. Moving to Kensington in 1929 with his bride, Mary Etta (Parsons) Cole, he spent his whole life at his homestead farming until his retirement. During his retirement years he received much joy from his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife in 1977. Mr. Cole is survived by two sons and their wives, Harley P. and Joanne Cole, who have lived with him the past 22 years in Kensington, and George A. and Nancy Cole, also of Kensington; seven grandchildren, 12 greatgrandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild; one brother, Earl Antworth of Portland, Maine, many nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held on Friday from 1-2 p.m. at the Brewitt Funeral Home, 14 Pine St., Exeter. Funeral services will follow Friday at 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow in the Village Cemetery, Kensington. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to Seacoast Hospice, 10 Hampton Road, Exeter, NH 03833 or the charity of one's choice.
