Born in Faulkland Ridge, he was a son of the late Frederick and Florence (Brown) VanBuskirk. Throughout his life he was employed as a laborer at various farms in the Melvern Square area, most recently with Spurr Brothers. He especially enjoyed hunting and fishing. He is survived by brother, Allan (Barbara), North Kingston, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brothers, Stuart and Douglas, and sisters, Pauline and Marjorie. Visitation will be held 2-4 p.m. today in Middleton Funeral Home, (902) 825-3448, where a memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, December 3, Pastor Danny Smith officiating.
