Hayden Road, Scottsdale. Burial will be in Green Acres Memorial Gardens. Mr. Lane, a native of Tennessee, came to Arizona in 1911 after three years of working for the Southern Pacific Railroad in California. He was employed as a test hole driller at Globe by the Phelps Dodge Corp. until 1930, when he went to work for himself. Mr. Lanes was a member of the Scottish Rite, El Zaribah Shrine, Phoenix, White Mountain Masonic Lodge 3, Globe and Thunderbird Lodge 18, F&AM, Phoenix. He died Friday at Phoenix General Hospital. His home was 11 W. Harwell. Survivors include three brothers out of state and several nieces and nephews.
