Obituary: Thelma Sapp was born in Coalinga, California on April 13, 1918 and went to be with her Savior November 28, 2007. Thelma worked for Pacific Telephone for almost 40 years as a customer service representative. Within that time she met many people and made many friends. She never met a stranger and saw only the good in people. She was a very independent person and yet she had the deepest uncompromising love and devotion for her family and extended family of friends. Thelma was preceded in death by her husband, William G. Sapp Jr.; her parents, Velda and Harry "Pop" Smith; and siblings, Glen and Plaudette. Thelma leaves behind her beloved only son, Bill Sapp and wife, Debbie; as well as ex-wife and friend, Nancy Blanco; grandchildren, Cindy Thompson and husband, David, Laurie Owens, Brock Sapp and wife, Darcy, Becky Judge and husband, Joel, Brian Sapp and wife, Heather, Patrick Wejmar and wife, Ginger, and Kelly Wejmar; great-grandchildren, Ryan and Tyler Thompson, Amy, Amber, Brad and wife, Melissa Sapp, Catie, CJ and Cole Owens, Ashley, Jessica and Wyatt Judge, Cody, Konner and Brook Lyn Sapp. Our family would like to extend our deepest gratitude to two very special people in Thelma's life - Vivian and Pilar, truly angels.
