He was the husband of the late Mary (Shirley) Reid. He was born in Brockton, son of the late Richard H. Sr. and Ellen V. (Nelson) Reid and resided in East Bridgewater all his life. He was the owner of Rockland Transportation with his brother Richard for 20 years, also was a cross country driver for Global Van Lines and worked 15 years for Collins Crane and Rigging in East Bridgewater. He was a member of the Teamsters No. 653. Butch is survived by two daughters, Christine Emerson and Cindy Eastman, both of Brockton; two sons, Emery "Buddy" Tetrault of Ohio and David and his wife Nancy Tetrault of Wareham; two brothers, Richard H. Reid Jr. of East Bridgewater and Kenneth H. Reid of West Palm Beach, Fla.; and a sister, Marlene J. Reid of East Bridgewater. Funeral services will be held in the home of Funerarias Multi Culturel, 238 Court St., Brockton, Friday, Aug. 13, at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Central Cemetery, East Bridgewater.
