She was the wife of the late John "Jack" Virgadamo. Born in Newport, RI, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Edith (Higgins) Jennings. Mrs. Virgadamo worked at the former GE Monowatt plant and was a waitress at Barbado's Restaurant at nights until her marriage in 1953, when she became a homemaker and raised her family in Newport. She was an accomplished seamstress and loved all forms of needlecraft and craftwork. Mrs. Virgadamo loved gardening and took great pride in maintaining her flower garden. Her love in life was spending time with her children and grandchildren. She is survived by her children, John J. Virgadamo and his wife Lori of Middletown, RI, Karen M. Champion and her husband Timothy of Newport, RI, Pamela J. Lampe and her husband Jay of Wilmington, NC and her step daughter Janice R. Carlson and her husband Herbert of Attleboro, MA, her brother Sydney Jennings and his wife Ginny, her sisters Muriel Smith of Newport, RI, and Stella Cortor and her husband Bill of Vienna, VA, her grandchildren Angie Kokott, Johnathon Kokott, Kara Marley, Ryan Ellis, Taylor Virgadamo, Alexandra Virgadamo, Hayley Virgadamo, Carl Carlson, Kristen Gallagher and Eric Carlson, her great grandchildren, Carlin Gallagher, Cole Ryan Marley, Lindsey Carlson and Shauna Carlson and several nieces and nephews.
