She was predeceased by her parents Annie and Peter Perotte and sister Marion Mason. Besides husband Jim, she is survived by sons, Rick (Irene) and Gary (Patti); brother Jim (Jean) Perotte; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews in Calgary and California. She will also be dearly missed by numerous close friends. Blanche was actively involved in volunteering for the Calgary Fire Dept. Women's Auxiliary, the naval community of Calgary and in knitting for the Fanning Centre.
