  • Obituary: Malcolm Morse Kennedy, a 40 year resident of Albuquerque, passed from this life on Sunday, December 31, 2006. Malcolm is survived by his wife of 53 years, LaVerne, daughter, Deborah and son-in-law, Joe Romero of Rixeyville, VA, son, Mark and daughter-in-law, Trudy Kennedy of Flower Mound, TX, four grandchildren, Matthew and Audrey Kennedy of Texas and David and Nicole Romero of Virginia. Malcolm was born on September 11, 1930 in Haverhill, MA. John graduated from Wells High School in Wells, Maine in 1947. Malcolm was a member of the United States Air Force for four years being honorably discharged from McChord Air Force Base, Tacoma, WA, in December of 1954. Malcolm received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from Northeastern University, Boston, MA, in 1960. Malcolm was involved in photography of solar and lunar eclipses, as well as, traveling the world in support of national defense projects such as atomic testing in the pacific during the 1960s, to testing Air Force weapons systems, and the installation of security systems in US Embassies. Malcolm retired from Edgerton, Germlshausen, and Grier in 1996. Malcolm thoroughly enjoyed his fellowship in the Santa Fé Scottish Rite Bodies, where he achieved 33rd degree Inspector Counsel Honore and as the Base Drummer Emeritus and member for life of Ballut Abyad Shrine Pipe Band. Malcolm will always be remembered for his undying loyalty to family and friends. We will miss him. Services will be held on Wednesday, January 3, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd. Chapel, with Rev. Clyde Stanfield, officiating. Friends may visit one hour prior to the service. Interment at Santa Fé National Cemetery will take place at a later date.
