Born in Gormanville, August 22, 1920, she was a daughter of the late Richard "Dick" and Sarah "Pink" (White) Harvey. Vivian loved to play cards and was an avid bingo player. She was a loving mother to her children and also a loving Nannie to her grandchildren and will be sadly missed by them all. Surviving are daughter, Mavis (Meb) White, Gormanville; son, Harry "Mac" (Charlotte), Kennetcook; granddaughters, Dena and Jim Rankin, Mount Uniacke; Colleen and Gary O'Toole, Upper Kennetcook; Christine and Scott MacKenzie, Bedford; many nieces and nephews; several sisters-in-law. She was predeceased by her husband, Harry; three daughters in infancy; grandson: Michael White; sister, Estelle; brothers, Victor, Burrell, Ed, Avard, Myron, Garnet, Ern, Ervin, Marvin and Howard in infancy. Visitation will be 7-9 p.m. today in J. Wilson Allen Funeral Home, Hwy. 354, Kennetcook, Hants Co. Funeral service will be held 6 p.m. Wednesday, April 16, in St. Paul's United Church, North Noel Road, Rev. Jim Bragen officiating. Interment will be in North Noel Road Cemetery, North Noel Road.
