PARKER, Ivy Louise - 86, Meadowland Villa, Bible Hill and formerly of 986 Pictou RD., passed away October 16, 2002, in the villa. Born in Truro, she was a daughter of the late Leonard and Jessica "Jessie" (Singer) Fielding. She was a member of St. David's United Church, was a life member of the UCW and was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 26, Ladies Auxiliary. She is survived by daughter, Marlene (Wayne) Watson, Bible Hill; son, Doug (Ellen), Summerside, P.E.I.; 12 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; great great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Clarence V.; daughter, Helen "Honey" Priest; son, Vincent; sisters, Gertrude Maskill, Lillian Morrison; brother, Henry; granddaughter, Nancy Seeton. Visitation will be 2-4, 7-9 p.m today with a Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 26, Ladies Auxiliary Tribute service at 7 p.m., funeral service 2 p.m. Saturday, both in Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow St., Truro, Rev. Ebbie Snow officiating. Burial in Bible Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Palliative Care Unit of Colchester Regional Hospital, Alzheimer Society or a charity of choice.
