She was born March 9, 1923, in Alton, daughter of the late Hibbert and Mabel Edmundson Miller of Alton. Dreame graduated from Old Town High School. She worked several years at Penobscot Shoe Co. and then the University of Maine until her retirement. Marion was predeceased by her husband, Charles Johnston; four brothers, Cecil, Merle, Kenneth and R. Vaughn Miller; and two sisters, Velma M. Webber and Evelyn M. Dubay. Surviving is her niece, Linda D. Costigan of Old Town; her sister-in-law, Virginia Johnston; several great-nieces and great-nephews. A warm and grateful thank you is extended to Bangor Nursing and Rehabilitation staff that took care of Dreame in her later years and a special thank you to Debbie Khoury for her help and care. There will be no visiting hours. A private memorial service will be held at a later date at Lawndale Cemetery, Old Town.
