He was a son of the late Walter and Gertrude Wilson (of West Gore). Dana graduated from Hants North High School and later Community College to become a machinist. He spent many years working for Dexter Construction as a truck driver and as a machinist. After retirement, he enjoyed travelling and driving all over the countryside and spending time at the summer cottage in Tatamagouche. Most of all he loved the company of his dear family and savoured every moment with them. Dana will be deeply missed by his beloved wife, Donna; loving children, Lana (Todd Weatherhead), Tina Patten; stepchildren, Sean Munro (Jane), Christine (Craig Lively), Stephen Munro and Dan Munro (Kathy-Lee); nine cherished grandchildren; dear sister, Wilma (Ivan Logan); brother, Ernest (Doreen); nieces, nephews and extended family. A visitation will take place on Sunday, March 12 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. in Atlantic Funeral Home, 125 Sackville Dr., Lower Sackville. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 15 in Atlantic Funeral Home at 1 p.m. with Rev. Angus R. MacDonald officiating.
