He is survived by his wife, the former Hazel Clark; son, John, Lantz; seven daughters, Phyllis (Mrs. Loran Davis), Hillsvale, Hants County; Gloria Hines, Ontario; Juanita (Mrs. Lynn Rector), Amherst; Marjorie Blake, Shubenacadie; Marion Webb, Enfield; Thelma (Mrs. Richard Andrews), Bedford; Doreen (Mrs. Lance White), North Noel Road; companion, Corey Buchanan; brother, Ira, East Gore; sister, Edna (Mrs. Don Harvie), East Gore; 18 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by four brothers, Clarence, Aubrey, Lee, Arthur. The body rested at Withrow-MacMillan Funeral Home, Upper Nine Mile River where funeral was held April 16, Rev. Bill Matthews officiated. Burial was Sand Hill Cemetery, Nine Mile River. Donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Sand Hill Cemetery or any charity.
