He attended Oberlin College, joined the U.S. Air Force pilot training school during WWII, attended Boston University where he received a Masters Degree in physics while continuing in Reserve pilot training for another 10 years. His work career included MITRE in Burlington, MA and physicist at Kennedy Space Center during the Apollo moon launches and early days of the shuttle program. His wife of 54 years and three children survive him. A Memorial Service will be held on July 8, 2011 at the Florida Memorial Funeral Home in Rockledge.
