Born in Middleton, he was a son of Evelyn Louise (Phinney) Dodge, Margaretsville, and the late Vernon Brenton Dodge. He attended Middleton Rural High School. He owned and operated a recycling business in the Port Moody area. Surviving are brother, Robert Andrew, Edmonton, Alta.; sister, Martha Louise (David) Dings, Cottage Cove; several nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place and interment will be in Church Grove Cemetery, Melvern Square, at a later date.
