She was born 90 years ago in Edmonton to devout Christian parents Eldon and Leila Hosford. Much of her youth was spent refining musical gifts, enabling her to richly bless others throughout her church, social and family life. She was an accomplished pianist and was considered the "Songbird of the North". In 1951, Bunny married Cyril Alvin Thorseth. In 1962, they established a permanent home in Edmonton, in which three daughters grew up and who, with their father, mourn the loss and yet remember the inspiration of a devoted partner and profoundly loving mother.
