Notes

  • Obituary: Rosemarie Keith 81, died peacefully at home on October 13, 2007. Rosemarie was the beloved wife of 59 years of Harry (Red) Keith; loving mother of Laurie (Lark) Keith, Michael S. Keith, Teresa Pond (Mark) and grandmother to her adored granddaughter, Hannah Maureen. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Maureen. Rosemarie is also survived by three sisters, Lorraine Greco (Tony), Mildred Hogan (Don), and Carol Ann Margies (Don) as well as many cherished cousins, nieces and nephews. Rosemarie was born to Michael James and Theresa Rizzuto on July 20, 1926 in Brooklyn, NY. She married her beloved husband, "Red" on May 8, 1948. The couple moved to Tucson in 1957. Rosemarie was devoted to her four children, her husband and her church. A life-long Democrat, she worked passionately for political causes for over 30 years. For more than 20 years she was an employee of the Pima County Assessors Office in widow's exemptions. Rosemarie was a woman of many hidden talents; an excellent writer, a landscape painter, and an avid reader. She was a great storyteller. But most of all it was Rosemarie's humor that touched everyone she met, her generosity and her warmth. Many, many of us will miss her deeply. Visitation will be held at EAST LAWN PALMS CHAPEL, 5801 E. Grant Rd., on Thursday October 18, 2007 from 6:00-9:00 p.m. with Rosary at 6:30 p.m. with a time of sharing afterwards. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Joseph's Catholic Church on Friday, October 19, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at East Lawn Palms Cemetery. Tucson Weekly Tucson,AZ 10/16/2007
