  • Obituary: Coulter (Patriquin), Laviva Ann "Sally" '96 Wallace Station, passed away peacefully at East Cumberland Lodge on January 3, 2017. Sally was born in Greenville, on November 10, 1924, to Ellsworth and Edith Patriquin, one of 12 children. Over the years, Sally worked in many restaurants, cooked at various lumber camps, was a telephone operator, and worked at Oxford Frozen Foods and Grant's General Store, but most importantly worked alongside her husband on the family farm in Wallace Station. Sally was happiest when surrounded by family and friends at her dinner table, laden with home baked bread, biscuits, donuts and any other delicious homemade delight you can imagine, along with her famous chocolate cake with boiled icing. You never left her home hungry! Sally was a faithful member of the United Church and the UCW for many years. Sally is survived by her children Darrell (Pat), Muriel (Kenn) Truro, Jerry (Carol) Angevine Lake, Ken (Winnie) Wallace Station, along with 12 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and 1 great-great-grand daughter. Also surviving are her sister Pearl, Greenville, brothers Joe (Georgie)Onslow, Glen (Hazel) Truro, Charles(Beverley), Wesley (Cindy) Wentworth and Lyle (Cheryl) Collingwood, as well as sisters-in-law, Kaye and Shirley, Greenville, Clare, PEI and brother-in-law, Bill, Greenville, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Sally was predeceased by her husband Claude, daughter, Sheila, great- grandson, Case, sister Jean, brothers, Gerald (Cora), Lorne (Plum), Austin(Doris) and Hilton. Visitation will be on Thursday, Jan 5, from 6 to 9 p.m., at Mundle's Funeral Home, 204 Water St., Pugwash. Funeral will be Friday, Jan 6, at 2 pm in St John's United Church Wallace, followed by a reception , with interment in Riverside Cemetery. Family flowers only.
