Notes

  • Obituary: Janise M Woolstenhulme Witkowski, 64, peacefully returned home to her Heavenly Father, surrounded by her loved ones. She fought a long and courageous battle with polymyositis. She was born on October 28, 1953 in Oakland, CA to Lynn and Marjorie Woolstenhulme. Her father was a Chief Corpsman, and after graduating in 1972 from Enosburgh Falls High School, she followed and enlisted in the U.S. Navy. While serving, she achieved an E4 Rank and was a Bos'n Mate on the Admirals Barge. It was there she met the love of her life, Thomas John Witkowski. They married on November, 23, 1973 at the Annapolis Naval Academy. They went on to have three children, and were sealed as a family for all time and eternity on July 23, 1982 at the Jordan River Temple. During the prime of her career, she was an X-ray technician for Primary Children's Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah. She loved being a mother and grandmother, and was the backbone of the family. She loved the outdoors, music, spending time with family, but more than anything, she loved her savior. She lived to serve him, was very active in her church, and was at peace knowing she was returning to his arms. She is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Tom; mother; siblings; daughters, Genesis (Shaun), Jaime (Brandon); son Matthew (Lisa); 16 grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her father Lynn (Wally) Woolstenhulme. A celebration of life will be held on April 24, 2018, 11:00 A.M. at the Tooele North Stake 5th Ward, 580 N. 270 E. Tooele, UT 84074. A viewing will be held from 9:30 - 10:45 A.M. prior to service.
