Obituary: Mrs. Katherine E. (Angevine) Ackert, 68, of Colebrook, died suddenly on Saturday, November 1, 2003 at the Concord
Hospital in Concord, following complications from back surgery. Mrs. Ackert was born on September 28, 1935 in Upton, Maine,
the daughter of the late John and Gladys (Lombard) Angevine.
Mrs. Ackert was a graduate of the Gould Academy in 1953. She was a civil servant for the United States Department of
Defense, working at the Pentagon until her retirement. She enjoyed quilting, gardening, crafts, and helping with church
functions. She also enjoyed traveling and attending craft shows.
Mrs. Ackert is survived by her five brothers and sisters, Avery Angevine, Ernest Angevine and wife Alberta, of Bethel,
Maine, Carrie Holt and husband Carlton, of Berlin, Mary Agnes Deblois and husband Orial of Shelburne, and John Angevine
and wife Constance of Stewarts-town; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
She is preceded in death by three brothers, Everett Angevine, George Angevine and Chester Arthur Angevine; and three
sisters, Luella Angevine, Helen Robichaud and Suzanne Morris.
