He was born March 6, 1936 in Haverhill, Mass. After graduating from Haverhill Trade School in 1954, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy, spending 12 years in submarine service. He worked in quality control for Hamilton Watch Company in East Petersburg, Pa. from 1966 to 1969 before moving to San Diego, where he met his future wife, Sharon Jordan. He worked for Merry X-Ray Chemical Corp. for 23 years as an X-ray film processor serviceman before he and his wife retired to Carson Valley, Nev., in 1992, and then to Auburn in 1999. He is survived by his wife Sharon, his brothers John and Richard Clevesy of Groveland, Mass., and his sister Sheila St Louis of Plaistow, N. H. Burial will be at the New Auburn Cemetery.
