Warren's great love, besides his family, was always aviation, earning at a young age, his pilot's license at Debert Airport, in Nova Scotia. In Calgary, Warren was instrumental in the start-up of "Wings" magazine, a publication he felt that true pilots, needed. Warren wrote many articles and contributed to many aspects of aviation-content. In the early years, they would fly to numerous Farmers' Fly-ins throughout the Prairie Provinces, publicizing the magazine. An avid and life-long sports fan, he loved his Toronto Blue Jays, the Calgary Stampeders and the Calgary Flames. Warren was an excellent curler, (and baseball player in his early days) loved skiing and golf; playing the guitar, and, in his retirement years, became very proficient playing the keyboard. The family has requested no flowers. Donations may be made in Warren's memory to the Colchester Food Bank. Our heartfelt thanks to Drs. Graham, Padmore and Meadows-Younger; the excellent nursing staff of 4th Floor East; and our friend and Social Worker, Jane Rogers.
