  • Obituary: It is with great sadness we an-nounce the passing of Pat after a brave three year battle with brain cancer. She died peacefully sur-rounded by family in the VG Site, QEII. Pat was born on September 3, 1933, and died on August 22, 2013, just 12 days short of her 80th birth-day. Formerly of Saint John, N.B., Pat was a devoted daughter to the late James and Lois (MacDonald) Holly and a caring sister to Margie (Wilson) and to her late brother, Sandy Holly. Pat was predeceased by her son, John David. Spending over 50 years in Bedford, as a loving wife, mother, and devoted grand-mother, Pat brought much caring and love to her family. Pat will be sadly missed by her husband of 58 years, Maurice 'Mick' McCulloch, and her sons, Andy, Gary, Michael; her daughters-in-law, Jeannie and Luzda, and her wonderful grand-children, Barry, Katelyn, Blake, and Jenna. She always made time spe-cial for family and friends. Through-out her life, Pat passed on many of her passions to her family; in partic-ular her grandchildren. From her love of skiing, music, art, theatre, bridge, and a sip of wine now and then, she always had something ex-citing to teach, talk about, or show someone. We are thankful for all the great times we had. Along with her great love for family, Pat loved having everyone to her beautiful cottage, 'the Retreat' in Chester. Friends, family, and many of the people she met through various as-sociations and clubs have spent time relaxing and enjoying the fresh blueberry muffins Pat would bake for all those who frequented her special place. As a long-time mem-ber of All Saints Anglican Church in Bedford, Pat enjoyed time with the various church groups, plays, and other activities over the years and the many kind people she met there. Pat was an active member of the Martock Seniors Ski club. Playing pi-ano and singing at Northwood and Spencer House for seniors was also very rewarding. Every group ex-tended Pat's circle of friendship and she appreciated each and every one of you
