She is the loving wife of David E. Pirrotta, Sr, the devoted mother of Donna M. Pirrotta-Basile of Scituate, Susan J. Pirrotta-Hoffman of Scituate, Steven M. Pirrotta of Scituate, Roslyn M. Pirrotta-Sandonato of Weymouth, and the late David E. Pirrotta, Jr, and also survived by 5 grandchildren. Shirley was born and raised on Dorchester and has been a Scituate resident for 40 years. She was a homemaker who worked at McDonald's in Hanover for 14 years. Shirley always had a smile and was outgoing. She enjoyed spending time with family and reading. Visiting hours will be held on Sat, Dec. 14th at 9AM at Richardson-Gaffey Funeral Home, 382 First Parish Rd, Scituate followed by a funeral service at 11AM, burial will be private.
