Obituary: San Antonio Express October 10th, 1972
LaFayette Camp Felder, age 86, of 4_05 N. New Braunfels Ave., died Saturday at a local hospital. He was a member of Christ Episcopal Church. He was a native of Leesburg, Texas, was a graduate of Castle Heights, Lebanon, Tenn., attended the University of Texas where he was a member of Kappa Sigma Fraternity and was active in the automobile business until his retirement in 1953. Survivors: wife, Mrs. Ruth Willett Felder; son, L. Camp Felder, Jr.; daughters, Mrs. Fred L. Parker, all of San antonio, Mrs. Maguire Mitchell, Los Angeles, Calif; 4 grandsons; 4 granddaughters; 3 great grandchildren. Service Tuesday at 11 o'clock in the Colonial Chapel of the Parlor Loring Mortuary. The Rev. James Alcorn officiating. Pallbearers - Thomas LaFayette Parker, Emmet Lyons Whitsett, Jr., Fred Parker, John Wilhitt III, Jack Vick, John Lawson Felder. Honorary pallbearers: W. Pat Camp, John LaFayette Camp, L. Camp Felder, III, Halford Maguire, Eugene Boline, III, Larry A. Lohillnen, Col. H.A. McConlet, Jr., Phillip C. Gill, Thomas Parker, Jr., Fred Leroy Parker. Interment in San Jose Burial Park. Arrangement with Porter Loring McCullough at Elmira.
