Born in Port Wade, she was a daughter of the late William and Laura (McGrath) Rogers. Marie was a long-time resident of Granville Centre, member of All Saints Anglican Church, and a member of the church guild. She was an avid bridge player. Most of her married life, Marie was a homemaker on the family farm. Marie is survived by sons, James "Edward" (Myrna), Bridgetown; John M. (Agnes), Annapolis Royal; daughter, Nancy (Richard) Fleming, Bridgetown; grandchildren, . . . ; great-grandchildren, . . . ; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Jack; brothers, James Rogers, Harold Reardon; sister, Blanche Sabean; daughter, Kimberly Fleming. The family would like to thank Dr. Grant Goodine and the staff of Mountain Lea Lodge for their exceptional care. No visiting by request. Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Friday, January 28, in St. Luke's Anglican Church, Annapolis Royal, Father Doug Chard officiating, assisted by Father Fred Hinxman and Father Walter Hannam. Interment will be in Wadeville Cemetery, Granville Centre.
