Obituary: Charles G. Foster, 54, died Tuesday in his home at Point Pleasant Beach. He was the husband of Lily Weber Foster whose parents, Mr. and Mrs. Albert R. Foster, reside in Sylvania place.
Mr. Foster was shipmaster for American-Hawaii Steamship Co., New York City, for 20 years. He was a commander in the Naval
Reserve and a member of the American Society of Naval Architects and Engineers.
Besides his wife he is survived by a brother.
Services will be held in Gray's tomorrow at 2 p.m. in charge of the Rev. Richard J. Hardman, rector of St. Paul's Episcopal Church. Interment will be in Fairview Cemtery.
