She is survived by sisters, Juanita Morris, Advocate Harbour; Edith Dowe (Ronald), Trenton, Ont.; daughter-in-law, Sylvia Pettis (Bruce Henwood), Parrsboro; granddaughter, Sandra (John Gallant), Amherst; great-granddaughters, Hanna and Sydney. She was predeceased by her husband, Claude; son, Sydney; sisters, Marie MacAloney, Glennis Field and Clarabelle McCully; brothers, Keith and Forrest. A private family service will be held at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to the Palliative Care Program of South Cumberland Community Care Centre, Parrsboro or to a charity of choice.
