She is survived by daughter, Sue Ann Abbott, Parrsboro; grandchildren, Matthew, Amelie, Jeremie and Hugh Frederick; sisters, Debbie Henwood (John), Parrsboro; Sally Blackburn, Halifax; brothers, Arnold (Roni), Winnipeg; Arthur, Scarborough, Ont.; Douglas (Sandra), Parrsboro; numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son, Barry; sister, Ardis Downey. In keeping with Carol's wishes, a graveside service will be held in St. George's Anglican Cemetery, Parrsboro on Saturday, July 23rd at 4:30 p.m., Rev. Dr. Brian Spence officiating. All are welcome!
