Born in Parrsboro, she was a daughter of the late Hardy and Hazel (Harvie) McCulley. She was a retired cook having been employed at Pier Restaurant for more than 30 years. She was a member of the Blomidon Rebecca Lodge No. 121 and was a life member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Legion Branch No. 45, Parrsboro. She is survived by son, Gordon, Hamilton, Ont.; brother, Ralph McCulley (Daisy), Pictou. She was predeceased by her husband, Wylie. Visitation 7-9 p.m. today in Smith's Funeral Home, Parrsboro, where funeral service will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday, Rev. Greg Doyle officiating. Burial in Parrsboro United Cemetery.
