  • Obituary: Mrs George E Robinson, 88, died Saturday at the home of her son, Harold G Robinson, St. George Street. The former Edith May Chute, she was the daughter of the late Freeman and Irene Chute, Clementsvale. She graduated from Adams Nervine Hospital, Jamaica Plains, Mass., affiliated with the Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston. She was a member of St Luke's Anglican Church, the Women's Auxiliary, and the Sanctuary Guild. She has lived here most of her life. For the past 19 years she lived with her daughter in Montreal and Toronto where she was most active in the RCAF Silver Cross Mothers Association. Her husband died in 1930. She leaves 1 daughter, Marion, Mrs DE Wilson, Toronto; 3 sons: George T, Parker's Cove; and Harold, Annapolis Royal; 3 step-children: Edna, Mrs OC Condon, Cape Cod, Mass.; Albert, East Weymouth, Mass.; and Walker, Hubbards. One son Flying Officer James F Robinson was killed in World War II. Funeral is Wednesday at St Luke's Anglican Church, Reverend HC Quartermain officiating.
