He was born July 18, 1923, in Camden, N.J. A resident for 15 years, he was a retired project manager for the federal government, a World War II, Korean War and Vietnam War Air Force veteran and a member of the Daedalians. He is survived by his wife, Roberta; three sons, Norman R. Gindrat III of Colorado Springs, Colo., Robert Gindrat of Highland Village, Texas, and Steven Gindrat of Park City, Utah; four daughters, Marsha Miller of Duxbury, Mass., Pamela Stiegerwald of Owens Cross Roads, Ala., Susan Smith of Germany and Laura Goral of Swanee, Ga.; two stepsons, John Lockwood of St. Petersburg, Fla., and Robert Lockwood of Henderson; two stepdaughters, Deborah Rogers of Noblesville, Ind., and Dona Pettitt of Baldwinsville, N.Y.; 27 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be 9:20 a.m. Tuesday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.
