(Mackinlay) Peavey, age 77, passed away peacefully on August 3, 2021, at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston surrounded by the comfort of her loving family. She was the daughter of the late Stuart and Marguerite (Connor) Mackinlay. Rosanna was born on December 12, 1943, in Boston and was a graduate of Mansfield High School, Class of 1961. She married her husband Robert Peavey on October 13, 1962, at St. Mary's Church in Mansfield. A former Mansfield resident, she and Bob moved to Wareham in 1987. She was employed as an assistant editor for the Wareham Courier newspaper. Rosanna was a longtime volunteer for the Council on Aging in Wareham delivering meals for the Meals On Wheels program. She enjoyed spending time at the Pinehurst beach and loved animals. Rosanna most enjoyed spending time with her family. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Loving wife of Robert Peavey, Sr. Devoted mother of LIVING. Beloved grandmother of LIVING. Sister of the late Mary Goulet. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend calling hours on Thursday, August 12 from 11 AM to 1 PM at the Roberts and Sons Funeral Home, 30 South Street, Foxborough.
