He was born May 12, 1939 in Amherst, Nova Scotia, Canada and was a son of the late Ray V. and Clara (MacDonald) Keddy. He was a Street Supervisor for the US Postal Service in Bristol prior to his retirement. He served in the US Air Force. He was an active member of Asbury United Methodist Church, Bristol. Ron was a member and Past Master of Frederick-Franklin Lodge #14, A.F. & A.M. Besides his wife, he leaves a son and daughter-in-law, Timothy and Nancy Keddy of Bristol, a daughter and son-in-law, Bonnie and Scott Cannon of Bland, MO, a brother and sister-in-law, Roy V. and Janie Keddy of Bristol, two sisters and a brother-in-law Lorna Baxter of Bristol, and Sandra and Houston Vaughn of New Britain, five grandchildren, one great grandson and several nieces and nephews. The funeral will be held Tuesday, 4pm at Asbury United Methodist Church, 90 Church Ave., Forestville. Calling hours will be held Tuesday afternoon from 2-4pm in the church. A Masonic Ritual will be conducted at the church on Tuesday afternoon at 3pm. DuPont Funeral Home, 25 Bellevue Ave., Bristol, is in charge of arrangements.
