She was also a member of Myrtle Chapter 21, Order of Eastern Star, and Colchester Hospital Auxiliary. She was a summer resident of Hart Lake, Cumberland Co., and enjoyed their cottage for over 60 years. She is survived by stepsons, Robert and wife Betty, Michael and wife Jean; stepdaughter, Margery Cassidy, all of Truro; stepdaughter-in-law Norma Cassidy, Fox Point, Cumberland Co.; step-grandchildren, Gregory, Christopher, Michael, Stephen Cassidy; Carole Ann, Lee, Robert Cassidy; Catherine Cassidy MacNevin and Margaret Cassidy; several great-step-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Ernest J.; stepson, James; step-grandson, Michael; great-step-grandson, Oliver James; sisters, Grace Cassidy, Anna Atkinson, and brother, John Ball. Visitation 7-9 p.m. today, Myrtle Chapter 21, Order of Eastern Star will conduct a tribute service 7:15 p.m. today, funeral service 2 p.m. Wednesday, all in Mattatall Funeral Home, 55 Young St., Truro, Rev. William MacLeod officiating. Interment to be 2 p.m. Thursday in North Kingston Cemetery, North Kingston, Kings Co.
